Representative Paul Ryan(R-Wisconsin) recently went back to his district  for some good old town hall meetings. The folks in cheeseland were none too happy with the “Wonder Boy” aka  “the architect of the GOP budget plan” and they weren’t afraid to show it. His charms were lost on the audience members at the Kenosha  town hall. One asked why aren’t corporations who outsource jobs being taxed?  Ryan responded with talk of getting rid of tax shelters and stammered into the overplayed Republican talking point that corporations are “taxed too much”.  Wrong answer “Wonder Boy” or should I say that is a lie. Oh wait somone in the audience took care of that. Liar! says an audience member. He’s lying another chimes in. The Kenosha audience was not buying it and booed Ryan.

Unlike most Democrats who were met with derision at town halls last summer and took it, Ryan said if you yelling, then leave. I LOVE IT, Repubs can dish it out but they can’t take it.  This was the last of four town halls in Ryan’s District, all were packed to capacity but this one also had 200 more outside who couldn’t get in. Most were protestors upset with Ryan’s plan to change Medicare.  It gets better… several dozen who couldn’t get in surrounded his car and he had to leave the building via the back door with a police escort. He told Milwaukee media outlet TMJ4 that he was a little concerned.  Americans seemed to be waking up and realizing that income inequality is acclerating and that Ryan’s budget plan promises to increase the wealth of the top 1 percent even more. For all those(tea party people) who waved signs about “Obamacare” and its entitlements this crowd had their own signs about Ryan creating death panels with his plan to change Medicare.  As usual Republicans aren’t really listening to the American people who want the safety net that is Medicare and Social Security to remain and support raising taxes on those making more than $250,000 per year.  Some in the GOP are already backing away from Ryan’s plan so the “Wonder Boy’s” time in the spotlight is already waning, it’s up to voters to get rid of him completely.
